9flights, a site I've had a journal or blog on since 1996. I did a Fray story back then. After Dinner, Hushville, some others - remember that one where we did podcasts before there was such a thing? I think it was Regarding.com. Went to the Cool Site of The Year Awards in 1997 with some cool folks. That was a long time ago.
9flights was a place for me to write over the years. Lots of angsty stuff about old boyfriends and jobs and one time that piece about how every time I went to Popeye's they never had sweet potato pies ready. Boy, if twitter were around for that, I would have started a serious anti-Popeye's campaign. I could have ended up with sweet potato pies for life! Shoot.
Now 9flights is a place for me to post pictures of stuff I do, art and design and home decor I like. I'm older now and have a lot more kids, so the angst is pretty much gone, thank goodness. Now I just want to make stuff. "Be Creative." Get inspired to do something every day, even if it's small, like photographing a few square inches of my daily view, or revel in the capers in my chicken picatta.
