We got this idea from SouleMama's book The Creative Family. Her wall is quite impressive. We've just started collecting our "instruments," so there are only a few right now, still with their Goodwill store price tags affixed. We also have to find a drum stick holder to attach to the tree. I look forward to lots of thrifty explorations and creative ideas for our wall. Perhaps a painting project is in the future, too.
In the meantime there will be lots of pots and pans concerts all day long. I'm sure Sam will also bring out his "musical" (harmonica) and his bongos and camp out to play and sing for us.
